Who is Wealthier?

I think Bill has a wealthier state of mind. Bob may make $100,000 annually, but he doesn't get the freedom to enjoy what he likes to do, not what he feels like he has to do. He sleeps for a short while and then goes to work and does the same the next day. Bob has no life. Bill may barely make it but atleast he is living a more fullfilled life. Bill gets to spend time with his wife and children everyday. Bob doesn't have time for them because of work? This is wrong.

Negative Campaigning

Negative Campaigning is completely necessary as long as the facts they are stating are the truth. It does seem like candidates spend more time talking down about there opponents then talking about what they can produce for the future. I don't really pay to much attention to the elections, probably because I can't vote but we'll see when I turn 18 i guess.

What did you do over the weekend?

Well friday night was a great time. It started at 7:30 when we destroyed the Munising Mustangs in a highschool football matchup 33-6. Immediately after the game I went home and then karl picked me up from my house to go to Andy Wolf's camp where we were having a party for Phil Leyerer because he just came back to Michigan to visit from Germany. He is 19 and lives in Giessen, Germany with his brother Maxi who is 17 and his Mother and Father. We became friends my sophomore year when he was a foreign exchange student at IHS for one year. Last March I went on a class trip to Germany and got to stay with him for two nights. It was a good time. I plan on making a trip to Giessen in June of 2009 and staying with him and his family for a month. Anyway to get back on the main topic, the next day I came home and went out to my deer blind for a couple hours. Rifle season is coming up soon and i'm soo excited for it I can't wait. After I got back from my deer blind a bunch of people went to matt waters house for a hottub then later we watched a movie at trevors. The next day I had to work from 9 to 2. When I got home from work I pretty much just watched football all day till last night when I went to marquette with Kyle, Justin, and Damian. That consisted of my weekend.

To be or not to be?

To be the man, or not to be the woman?
To be hot, or not to be cold?
To be in health, or not to be sick?
To be wealthy, or not to be poor?
To be happy, or not to be sad?
To be courageous, or not to be fearful?
To be alive, or not to be dead?
To be awake, or not to be tired?
To be strong, or not to be weak?
To be tone, or not to be fat?
To be colorful, or not to be plain?
To be light, or not to be dark?
To be good, or not to be bad?
To be loving, or not to be hateful?
To be comfortable, or not to be painful?
To be tasty, or not to be disgusting?
To be talented, or not to be worthless?
To be glorious, or not to be gloryless?

Ahh, the Candidates

If i were 18 i know who i would vote for. As for now i shall keep a secret ballot. I will just throw this out there and this is probably a dead give-away but i would be voting democratic. Whatever the outcome may be determines a lot for the future United States. I am interested and excited to see what will happen as far as the candidates. Some people say that this is the year that a woman wins the election. But i'm thinking otherwise. At first i thought there could be a chance but i'm not seeing it happening anymore. Democrat by landslide.

Hurricanes

One thing I have to say about this is I am glad that I don't live somewhere where there is hurricanes a few times a year. I know that they can be severely damaging and i wouldn't want to lose my home or anyone close to me, and this has been known to happen from hurricanes! Thats good that no hurricanes are able to reach the good ole' U.P. If this were to happen we'd be swallowed, their would no longer be an Upper Peninsula of Michigan. But if there were strong enough winds to get me thinkin' "hey, somethings wrong here" then i wouldn't just sit around, i'd be packin and gettin the heck out.

Homecoming

Homecoming is one of the most exciting times of the school year for students. It's not just because it's a Friday and everyones looking forward to the weekend, it's because everyones excited for the football game and dance taking place after school. Traditionally we play Westwood or Norway for our homecoming game this year as an exception. For some reason we will be taken on by the Calumet Copper Kings tonight at approximately 7:30. I'm looking forward to the game and watching my team play. Afterwards I will probably be attending the dance with friends just to hangout. Then that pretty much somes up the Homecoming. Well i guess I didn't go over the events that take place at school. We have an assembly and play a couple games and Coach Olson gives his routine half hour speech on hour we are going to kick there ***. That usually pumps everyone up quite a bit. Well that usually concludes the homecoming day. I will be getting back to the blog soon.

I had a pretty interesting weekend. It started off not so nice on friday when i couldn't go to the game because i had work and couldn't get out of it. Of course none of that would have happened if i wouldn't have gotten a severe concussion during baseball in july. Because of my head injury i was not allowed to participate in football and wrestling this school year. This was extremely disappointing considering this was one of my favorite sports to play. Other than not going to the game, which they lost by the way, i pretty much just hung out with friends and ended up having a barbecue yesterday on sunday. I'm looking forward to the Greenbay Packers first game tonight, hoping they can beat the Minnesota Vikings which happens to be my least liked team. Other than that nothing else is new and I shall be getting back to you fellow bloggers soon.

If I was President...

If i was president i would immediately do everything in my power to pull the troops from overseas. Half of the soldiers fighting in Iraq or stationed in Afghanistan and other countless countries are "National" Guard soldiers who are suppose to be protecting the U.S. Then i would fight illegal immigration because to many immigrants are comming here and taking jobs that U.S. citizens need.
